"Great framework for understanding why conflict in the workplace may occur, and how to diffuse it through understanding of personality types, their motivators, and stressors."

PCM NUGGET
Eat a healthy breakfast. Get enough sleep. Exercise. Read a good book. Self-care is about filling your own "tank" (physically, emotionally, spiritually) in healthy ways so that you can be fully available to others. In PCM, this means getting your psychological needs met on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Doing this allows your "elevator" to move more freely so you can experience the wonderful gifts in all the other floors of your personality condominium as well as appreciate those gifts in other people.
As PCM Trainers, this is something we can not express enough. Look again at the personal and professional action plan in the back of your profile - and be intentional in getting your psychological needs met in healthy ways. If you went through a PCM seminar with a co-worker, spouse, or friend - find someone that you can be accountable to in an open, persistent and resourceful way, and set some goals based on meeting your psychological needs, each and every day. - JR & NR

 WHITE PAPER
People say that it feels inauthentic to adjust their communication and leadership style in order to connect with and motivate others. They say that it’s more important to stay true to oneself than to be shifty and fickle. In this White Paper, "Authenticity and Process Communication," Jeff shares how each of us has all six personality types within us, and therefore we can be “true to ourselves” and
access any part of our personality, even though this may require energy and feel inauthentic at times. While we may have less energy in the less-visited floors of our personality condominium, they are no less a part of who we are.
